I got some Rough and I Want it Cut!

1. How small can the gemstone rough be? Please measure in MM's only. My standards for my cutting style. Gemstone rough has to be 6mm deep by 7mm wide not any smaller 
   

2. To save your time. Place the stone on a white piece of paper in regular light, what ever color you see, or how dark the stone is..generally what it looks like its gonna look like faceted.

3. Please get a cereal bowl white and fill with water and soak stone in water, then take stone and put your phone camera light flashlight under the stone and tell me what you see, if it looks like glass and does not have a bunch of cracks or internal sub surface damage and looks just like clean glass that's what we want. basically we want it to look  like clear glass and that will be a pretty faceted stone.

4. Sometimes water does not let us see inside the stone, use transparency fluid or use baby oil and coat the whole stone and hold up to a light to see in the stone for inclusions, cracks, bubbles and any type of chaos we call it trash inside the stone. if no light comes through its a opaque stone and not good for faceting. Or the light is very faint not good for cutting.
